August 25th 2018, 10 years and counting
For those of you not familiar with the event and what we do, it is a fantastic venue tucked in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains in Roanoke County. We have grown from a simple gathering of athletes to fantastic festival celebrating culture and our most valuable resource, our Veterans. We use this as a fundraiser every year to help our wounded vets through a group known as Warrior 360. Our event is free to the public and all money earned is donated to the cause. We do our best to keep the costs down and provide a wonderful event for all to enjoy.
From clans, beer garden, athletic demos, music, and down to our athletes we love to provide the most enjoyable cultural experience to the valley that has such a rich Scots-Irish history. Within the last two years we have added the clans and expanded the “festival” from just a few vendors to a slew of Celtic themed crafters, apparel, Scotch tasting/ history, and even a rugby demo. For the 10th Anniversary, we would really love to see more clans and bring in authentic Scottish food.
